Meet Apollonia! Apollonia walked off the streets of Chicago and into her foster home with a charming confidence that is irresistable. With her petite frame, cherubic face, delicate squeaks, and cashmere-soft fur, Apollonia knows how to make a good first impression :) In her foster home, Apollonia loves to be involved in the lives of her humans and fellow cats. She loves to cuddle her humans, be held like a baby, and sleep on your chest or wedged by your side through the night. She is equally happy to cuddle puddle with other cats and loves to affectionately groom her best friend and fellow foster, Caramel. Of all her special qualities, the thing that Apollonia's foster mom loves most about her is her quiet curiosity. Apollonia will follow her parents around like an inquisitive sparrow and she is very responsive to her name, tone of voice, and even pointing! This girl is very quick on the uptake :)Apollonia's sweet disposition transmogrifies into athletic leaps and bounds alongside Caramel as these young girls play tag, pounce, and soccer. Apollonia absolutely adores playtime be it with humans, other cats, or even batting around springs by herself. Apollonia and Caramel love to follow-up their exertions with cuddles, full-body pets, and chin scritches from their humans. These girls are as close as sisters- they even call out to each other throughout the house to initiate play or a good cuddle session! Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
