135Hi everyone! My name is Scott Hamilton and I was named after a very famous ice skater! I’d love to tell you a bit more about myself to see if I’m the perfect fit for your family. I was originally found in a trailer park but I was so skinny and not thriving so a really nice person brought me into ARF to be rescued. I can now proudly say that I am always fed and warm, which is already a dream come true. But now, I’m ready for a forever home of my own! I am really friendly around other felines, so I would do great in a home with other cats. I also really love people and am ready to find someone who will give me tons of treats, and spend a bunch of time with me. Besides playing with my people, you can find me cuddled up in a warm blanket, watching birds from the window, and investigating all the dust bunnies on the floor. I’m ready to meet you if you’re ready to meet me! Fill out an application for me, Scott Hamilton, today! Scott is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, and litter box trained. Scott's adoption fee is $ 135. If you are interested in meeting Scott, please fill out our Online Application today! Once your application has been approved, an ARF volunteer will be able to contact you to arrange a meeting.
Adoption Process
Read more about our adoption process on our website at: https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/
Adoption fees depend on the animal. Please see the pet’s biography for information on their adoption fee.
Below is an overview of what you can expect during the pet adoption process:
Step 1: Submit an online adoption application at https://www.arf-il.org/adopt/application/
Step 2: Our volunteers will review your application and reach out with a status. This step can take up to five business days.
Step 3: If your application is approved you will be invited to meet with the cat or dog you are interested in at a mutually agreed upon time and location.
Step 4: We’ll walk you through the benefits of adopting through A.R.F., then complete the adoption paperwork and collect the adoption fee. Then your new best friend is yours!
Step 5: Complete required follow-ups such as obedience training or spay/neuter (if delayed due to medical reasons).
