Meet Murphy

Murphy is an absolute sweetheart and charming young dude – he’s social, calm and full of personality! He’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, with a love for cuddling and hanging out with his foster humans and feline friends. He’s a huge fan of toys (especially the jingly ones!) and loves showing off his acrobatic skills by jumping and doing flips. When it’s not playtime, he will find a comfortable spot not too far from view where he can be adored and gazed upon by his admirers.  Murphy is a super social lovebug and gets along swimmingly with his feline foster sister and her rambunctious little furballs. While he’s happy to be part of a multi-cat household, he could also be just as content as a solo cat so he can absorb all your attention. He hasn’t yet met any children, but we suspect he will do well with kiddos under adult supervision due to his affectionate and loving nature. When he’s not zooming around after toys, Murphy loves to make biscuits on his cozy blanket and snuggle up beside or on top of his humans. He’s a big fan of cuddles and enjoys being pet, but he’s not clingy—he’s content just hanging out in the same room while you go about your day. Oh, and dinnertime? He’s all about his wet food and can’t wait for his next delicious meal to be served!Murphy came in as a friendly stray kitty and he is still trying to sneak outside of his foster home, so Murphy’s furever family should be able to ensure he can’t make a break for it and not mind his little wines and pleading by doors. With the right amount of playtime and attention, he’ll be a happy and contented kitty companion! Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
