Mae & MilesMae - Domestic Shorthair, Born October 2022, Brown Tabby, Spayed FemaleMiles - Domestic Shorthair, Born October 2022, Brown Tabby, Neutered MalePssst ~ over here, to the left! It’s me, Mae. I’m whispering because I can be a little shy with new people at first, but once we’re friends, I’m purrfectly okay. Lately, I’ve been spending most of my time training for the Feline Olympics ~ I’ve been told I’m a real athlete and I’m hoping to medal in both High Jump and Long-Distance Running. After a hard day of training though, I usually look for a soft lap to cuddle up in. My brother, Miles, is the complete opposite, though ~ he prefers to watch my activities (and a lot of other things) from a distance. But sometimes he just can’t resist and will jump in to join the fun ~ for a little while. I’ve tried to tell Miles how good it feels to be picked up and cuddled, but he’s not quite convinced just yet. We both love to play with each other, ribbon teasers ~ and well, anything that moves, really! We hope you will come to meet us soon ~ we’re very anxious to find our forever people. Mae and Miles are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Mae has perfect litter box habits but will require veterinary follow up for blood in the urine, although the vet indicates this should resolve in a couple of months. Adoption Information: Children: Yes Cats: Yes, with proper introduction Dogs: Unknown Adoption Fee: $200 for the pair They are microchipped, spayed, and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
