Adler Domestic Shorthair, Born in October 2022, Gray Tabby with White, Neutered male Adler: The Shy, Love-bug looking for his Fur-ever Home   Hi there! I'm Adler, and I'm looking for my forever home!   I'm a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you—I’m just getting comfortable. Once I know you, I’m a big ol’ love bug! I adore attention (but I prefer if you go slow at first—I’m not a fan of surprises!). It might take me a little time to feel comfortable, but once I trust you, I’m all in for cuddles and companionship.   I’m super curious, especially about other cats—there’s this cool neighbor cat named John Lennon, and I think he’s awesome! I’m a little starstruck and would love to be part of his "band." Maybe we can hang out and jam together—I'm pretty playful and up for whatever! I think I’d do well with other cats, as long as we take things slow and get to know each other.   I’m adjusting to new things and becoming more social every day. I would love to find a home where I can be myself and get the love and patience I need as I settle in. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
