Meet Gustav Klimt
Meet Gustav Klimt! Little Gus is a small kitty who was given a big name! Named after a famous and profound Austrian painter, and we’re sure little Gus can live up to it! Gus is a social, creative kitty with an attention to detail. He loves to watch his foster mom paint! And he is always the first to run to any paint brushes that accidentally drop to the floor. A quiet and gentle, Gus has the soul of a painter and he can be a little shy. He is wary of new people, but once he warms up to you, he never wants to leave your lap!Since Gus is still young, he will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. He would really love to be adopted with one of his siblings or his mom! (Paloma Picasso, Salvador Dali, Lucky Deuce, Mambo #5, and Esmeralda). Gus is particularly close with his mom, Esmeralda, and he would really love to be adopted with her. Since Gus was born a few days before being taken into foster care and has always been surrounded by his family, he is definitely not used to being alone. Gus is a very friendly and easy-going kitty, and he would probably do well in a home with other animals as long as he is given a slow and supervised introduction. Since Gus is a tad shy and can be startled easily, he would thrive in a quiet, calm, home environment. He isn’t the best fit for a home with young children, but he would enjoy getting to know older children who understand cat behavior and respect his boundaries. Most importantly, he needs to be in a home with people who love him and want to give him all the attention he craves and deserves!True to his artsy soul, Gus loves nothing more than to curl up in someone’s lap and watch a good documentary on artists of the past. He is so adorably fluffy you’ll never want to stop petting him! Gus is so affectionate and he loves to be cuddled and pet all over. He’s especially fond of tummy rubs! Gus is one of the most laid-back kittens in his litter, and while he does enjoy playing, he certainly knows when it’s time to lie down and take a break! When it is playtime, Gus is particularly fond of toys with long strings or ribbons. He will chase those all over the house! When he’s in a playful mood…watch out! Anything you drop on the floor is suddenly part of his toy chest. Luckily, he’s such a sweet and gentle boy, it’s never hard to get those “toys” back from him.Gustav is a very special kitty who is so excited to find his forever home! He’s sure to fill any home with so much love, sweetness, and joy. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!
Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.
In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:Â
https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic
Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Â Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.
Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.
Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.

We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
