This darling boy isn't all just looks, he has the sweetest and most gentle personality as well! Desmond originally came into foster care after being abandoned at the emergency vet. While he needed to be cleaned up a bit, with a little TLC he has been doing great in foster care. Desmond's favorite things are head pets alongside some churu treats. He enjoys playing with toys like wands, kickers, and turkey tendons (which he will throw in the air to catch!) He loves to sleep in a cozy cave bed as well. Desmond is super curious and enjoys exploring new places around the house.Desmond is on a veterinary prescription diet. This food should be continued after adoption. Desmond's ideal home would be one with adults only or with cat savvy older kiddos. Desmond would thrive in a home with another friendly cat pal to help show him the ropes, so he would love a home that already has a resident kitty pal. A family with humans who are frequently home may also be a suitable match. This loving and precious boy is so worthy of a forever home who can give him all his heart desires. Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
