With his stunning amber eyes and a personality as warm as a perfectly aged bourbon, Michter is a loving, playful boy who’s ready to steal the hearts of his forever family.About a month ago, Michter and Booker made the long journey from Kentucky to Illinois, and ever since they arrived they’ve been charming their foster family and preparing for adoption! These sweet, affectionate brothers are bonded and must be adopted together. They're double the fun, double the buff boy shenanigans, and double the cuddles!These adorable, friendly, and easy-going little guys would do well in any home environment, as long as there’s enough love to go around. They would do well with older kids who understand cat behavior and respect their boundaries, or younger kids with ample adult supervision (since they are both still small). They would also do well in a home with other animals…they love making new friends!  Michter is a big fan of wand toys, ball towers, and curling up for cozy kitten naps on the softest blankets. He and Booker love to romp, wrestle, and fully embrace the saying "boys will be boys!" Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
