Makayla is an absolute bundle of joy with boundless kitten energy! She’ll happily chase anything that moves and has a particular fondness for zipper pulls. Her foster mom says she'll miss her sweet little face, but she knows Makayla is ready to bring her charm to a loving forever home.Makayla thrives on companionship, and would do well in a home with lots of people and cats alike. Since she is still so young, she will need to be adopted into a home with another kitty friend to play with, or with one of her siblings (Mouch or Maggie). She has also done well with her foster mom's resident cats and would likely adapt to a doggy friend with a slow, supervised introduction. She's even great with kids, as long as there's proper adult supervision to ensure her safety since she is still small.While she can be a little shy at first, Makayla warms up quickly and loves to play. She would do well in most home environments, but she would thrive in a quieter home where she could blossom into the loving adult kitty she’s destined to be.Makayla is eagerly waiting to find her forever home – could it be with you? Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
