Meet Mocha

Meet Mocha – A Sweet and Snuggly Little SoulMocha may be on the quieter side, but don’t let that fool you—she still loves a good play session with her best friend, Happy! While she enjoys a bit of running and chasing, she eventually decides that relaxing on her beloved heating pad is the way to go. Mocha is all about cozy vibes and cuddles, making her the perfect balance to her bestie Happy’s high-energy antics. When Mocha first arrived at her foster home, she was a bit spicy and took some time to trust her humans. But with patience and love, she has blossomed into a sweet and affectionate little girl who adores being picked up and petted. One of her favorite things is climbing onto your chest, nuzzling into your neck, and soaking up all the love. Her foster family will miss her gentle hugs, but they know she’s going to be the most wonderful, snuggly addition to her forever home. She loves people once she’s had time to warm up, but she isn’t a fan of most other animals. She has accepted Happy as her one true feline friend, but she has zero tolerance for the resident adult male cat in her foster home. Because of this, Mocha would do best as either an only pet or—ideally—adopted with Happy. She may also do well with older children who understand cat behavior and respect her space.Mocha also has some adorable quirks—when she thinks no one is watching, she’ll stand up on her hind legs like a tiny prairie dog! And while she enjoys wand toys, her true favorite is a little pink plushie from her previous owner that she carries around in her mouth like a prized treasure.Mocha is a certified lap cat, but she does have a mischievous side—she’s very nibbly! Whether it’s chewing on churu treat packages or gnawing on the stick of her wand toy, she keeps things entertaining. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly companion who enjoys a mix of playtime and relaxation, Mocha is your girl. And if you’re open to a dynamic duo, adopting her with Happy would be the purrfect match! Adoption Process
Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines, a division of Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue.  We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion! Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent.  We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level.  This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family. In order to get the process going, would you kindly fill out our detailed online application located here:  https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11683/generic Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue.  Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten. Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day.  Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet.  We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier.  If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day.  If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $3 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home.  We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies. Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age.  We are able to accept cash, check, paypal, or most major credit cards for the adoption fee. Adoption Fees: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6z1287oepz9kah/FPALR%20Cat%20Adoption%20Fees.pdf?dl=0 We have streamlined our adoption process to make it easy!  Everything from the application, to payment, to the contract is online.  Additionally, all of the cats records will be placed in your free Petlovers account at petstablished.com to keep organized.
