Meet Manguito & Bruno

Manguito and Bruno Age: Born December 2024 (Manguito), September 2024 (Bruno)Breed: DMH, Orange and White (Manguito), DSH Gray (Bruno)Gender: Male (both) Manguito and Bruno, while not littermates, are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Hi, I’m Bruno, and This is My Best Friend, Manguito! Hi there, I’m Bruno, a shy but playful kitten, and I want to tell you about me and my best friend, Manguito. We’ve been together since it seems like forever, and I can’t imagine life without him. We’re looking for a forever home together, and I promise we’ll bring lots of love, fun, and cuteness into your life! A Little About Me (Bruno): I’ll be honest—I’m a little shy at first. I like to have my own safe space (a tall cat tree is my favorite!), and I don’t really like being held. But once I feel comfortable, I love playing, especially with catnip and soft toys. Sometimes, when I’m extra happy, I’ll even purr when you pet me. It took me a while to trust humans, but I’m getting there, and with patience, I know I’ll come out of my shell even more! Meet My Best Friend, Manguito: Manguito is the confident one—he’s the first to say hi to new people, and he LOVES cuddles. He even falls asleep on our foster human’s chest while purring! He’s super playful, always curious, and honestly, he makes me feel safe. If I ever feel nervous, I just look for Manguito, and suddenly, everything feels okay again. What We’re Looking For: Manguito and I really want to stay together. I need my buddy to help me feel brave, and he needs me for all our fun playtimes! We’re looking for a loving home that understands I might take a little time to warm up, but Manguito will happily give you cuddles while I observe from my favorite spot. A patient family who will let me go at my own pace would be perfect. If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet, cuddly extrovert (Manguito) and a playful, shy guy (me, Bruno), we’d love to meet you! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
