Meet Gravy - pending

***Thank you for your interest in Magnificent Mutts and Meows. All  meet ups will be by appointment only.  Your whole family must be available to attend the meet as there will be no second meets scheduled to help limit contact between our team and the public. To help streamline the process please make sure your current pets are up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered, you have landlord/HOA approval, and that you are prepared to take the cat or kitten home with you immediately before submitting an application. Thank you!*** These gorgeous floofy siblings are approximately 4.5mos old and ready to find their forever home.  Biscuit and Gravy came into our care as feral, undersocialized kittens in need of work. So, while we know they are beautiful and many people will rush to apply please be advised they do have several requirements to adopt, and applicants must meet all requirements in order to be considered.     Biscuit and Gravy must be adopted together - no exceptions.   Unfortunately, no children for these two. They will also need to be the only pets in the home so their family can focus on them and their needs.   Someone who works from home, or is home more than not is ideal so they can work and engage with them frequently throughout the day.  This will help them transition into their forever home quicker.    It took many weeks in foster care going slow and not forcing them into uncomfortable situations for them to learn to trust and open up.  Therefore, any applicant must be aware that they will need time, and patience transitioning into their new home.  They must be allowed to open up on their own timeline because rushing them to engage with you will only set them back, and cause them to shut down.  However, once they feel comfortable and do open up they are the sweetest duo.     Once they trust their caregivers they will seek their humans out for pets and attention.  They love to play with their humans and their favorite toys which are soft pom pom balls, and wand toys.  They love to run and tumble with eachother as well playing for hours on end! They've never meet a churu (meat tube) they didn't like and in fact churus are a great ice breaker to allow their humans to engage and set a routine with them in a positive way.  They love looking out the window where they will sit forever watching all the happenings going on in the outside world.  Their new home should also have a larger cat tree that has some hiding spots in it so they can retreat and feel safe if they want to.     Upon arrival they did not like to be held, or touched, but their foster family has worked with them on handling and grooming which is needed given their long coats.  They do not mind being brushed now, but their new family will have to continue to do those things in a positive way to reenforce that they are not scary or bad.    Biscuit and Gravy will not be the right fit for everyone, but we do know that there is someone out there who will have patience and give these sweet kids a chance to become amazing family members.  If you feel like that is you please apply ! Biscuit and Gravy have had all age appropriate vetting, neutered/spayed and are microchipped. A free vet visit at our participating veterinary hospitals is provided at the time of adoption as well. To adopt, visit our website at https://www.magnificentmutts.org/forms/cat-adoption-application / fill out an online adoption application. Their adoption donation is $350 (for both) Cash only.
