Meet Chucky
Chucky Domestic Shorthair, Born in May 2024, Brown Tabby with White paws and bib, Neutered male Hey there! I’m Chucky, a playful and adventurous little guy with a big personality. My favorite thing to do? Chase anything that moves, especially those pesky mouse toys. When I catch one, I like to strut around proudly with it in my mouth—mission accomplished! I’m also a fan of lap time and cuddles, and you’ll know I’m happy because I have the loudest purr for such a tiny kitten. I’m super friendly with visitors, and I love being pet and brushed. Just don’t surprise me with loud noises or confine me for too long—I’m not a fan of that. I’m great with my litter box, although I don’t always feel the need to cover my business. I also love my scratching posts, especially the cardboard and sisal rope kind. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and entertaining companion who’s ready to fill your home with love (and purrs), I’m your guy! Can’t wait to meet you at the adoption center! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
