I sit with you. You lie down? I'm right there, snuggled up close. You have a lap? That's my new throne! And don't even get me started on playtime - I'm a certified toy expert. Balls, kicker toys, wand toys... if it moves, I'll play with it!   I love meeting new friends and I'm not shy about asking for attention. Actually, "not shy" might be an understatement - I'm pretty much a social butterfly who believes life is better when shared! I even enjoy being picked up and brushed, though I'd appreciate it if you'd skip the belly rubs (a guy has his boundaries!).   Full disclosure: Sometimes I get so excited during petting sessions that I might get a little grabby - I'm still working on managing my enthusiasm! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
