Connor Domestic Shorthair, Born in January 2023, Gray, Neutered male Meet Connor – The Handsome Gray Cat Ready for His Forever Home!   Hey there, I’m Connor! I’m a handsome gray boy, a bit shy, but I’ve got so much love to give once I learn to trust. I was rescued through TNR and, like my friend Margie, I’m still settling in and adjusting to life indoors. The noise at the adoption center makes me a bit uneasy, but I’m starting to feel more comfortable and learning that not all things are so scary.   I love to climb to high places where I feel safe—it's my way of keeping an eye on things while I adjust. Once I’ve had a chance to settle in, I’ll happily accept gentle pets, and I’ll reward you with sweet, quiet companionship. I’m looking for a calm and loving home where I can take my time adjusting. A peaceful environment with patient humans will really help me blossom into the confident cat I’m meant to be.   I’d do well in a home with other cats or older kids with cat experience, that’s fine too! I’m also available to be adopted solo or with my catio partner, Margie—she’s my buddy, and we get along great!   If you’re looking for a sweet, shy boy who will blossom with time and patience, I might be the perfect match for you. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
