Meet Margie
Margie Domestic Shorthair, Born in May 2024, Calico, Spayed female Meet Margie – The Sweet and Gentle Calico Looking for Her Forever Home! Hi, I’m Margie! I’m a gentle calico girl who was rescued through a TNR program, so I’m still settling into this whole indoor life. It’s a little overwhelming, but I’m warming up to the idea of having a cozy, quiet place to call my own. I’m a bit on the shy side, but I promise I’m worth the wait. Once I get to know you, I’ll happily accept some gentle pets, and I’ll reward you with sweet purrs. I’m looking for a calm, loving home where I can feel safe and secure. I’d be just fine with other cats, and I’m open to quiet dogs and kids with some cat experience who will respect my space. I’ll blossom in a home where I have time and patience to settle in at my own pace. If you’re looking for a quiet companion to share your home with, I’d be a great fit. I’m also available to be adopted solo or with my catio buddy, Connor— we get along great! If you think you can give me the time and space I need, I’d love to start our journey together. I promise, once I’m comfy, I’ll be a loyal and sweet companion. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
