I'm Reya, but you can call me Rey - yes, just like the legendary Jedi. My golden eyes might remind you of a lightsaber, and trust me, I've got some serious cat-jedi moves. I'm a stunning feline with a personality full of sweetness. My neighbor Kylo Ren and I have an understanding. The force brought us together at C.A.R.E., but I'm more of a light-side warrior - especially when it comes to playtime. My ultimate weapons? A yellow worm toy and a magical wand that brings out my most acrobatic hunting skills. Lap time is my version of force meditation. I'm a master of cuddles, but I'll admit I can be a bit shy at first. Give me a moment to assess your worthiness, and I'll soon be your most loyal companion. Fair warning: I'm a bit of a food critic. My wet food standards are as high as my attitude. Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
