Meet Arnie
Arnie Domestic Shorthair, Born in April 2023, Black and White, Neutered male Arnie: The Gentle Soul Ready for a Forever Home Hey there, I’m Arnie! I’ve been through a lot, having faced some tough times after being abandoned outside, but I’m a survivor. I’m friendly, calm, and learning to trust again. Every day is a new step in my journey, and I’m so grateful to be getting the chance to find my real forever home, where I’ll be treated with love and kindness. I’m a thoughtful cat who likes to take my time to contemplate life—whether that’s by watching the world go by from a comfy perch or just soaking in the peaceful vibes. I’m not in a rush, but when I’m comfortable, I’ll let you know that I’m ready for some pets and cuddles. I do love being held on your lap, especially when I feel safe, and I’ll happily settle in for a cozy cuddle session. I’m also learning to play a little more each day, but I’m definitely a low-key kind of guy—my idea of fun is a gentle toy session or just hanging out with my favorite people. When it comes to pets, I’m all about it… until I’m not. If you happen to go a little too far, I’ll politely let you know in a friendly way, no hard feelings! I’m adjusting well and I just need a home where I’ll be treated with patience and love. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, calm, and affectionate companion who will appreciate everything you do for me, I’m your guy. Come meet me, and let’s start our journey together—I promise, I’m worth the wait! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
