YesLucas aka Luke Skywalker Domestic Shorthair, Born in November 2023, Tuxedo, Neutered male Lucas aka Luke Skywalker: The Force is Strong with This One Introducing Lucas—aka Luke Skywalker, the feline Jedi in training! When he first arrived at the shelter, this little fur ball was a bit like a young padawan—shy and uncertain, unsure of where his path would lead. But don’t be fooled by his quiet demeanor—beneath that cautious exterior lies a heart that’s slowly beginning to trust and a spirit that’s ready to embrace the Force... of love, that is! While he's still getting comfortable in his new surroundings, Lucas has started to embrace the simple joys of life: treats (yes, he’s a bit of a treat connoisseur) and, slowly but surely, accepting the gentle pets of his human allies. He’s a little hesitant at first, but once he feels safe, he’ll reward you with the ultimate Jedi gesture: a slow, trust-filled blink, like he's giving you his approval from a galaxy far, far away. We’re still getting to know this shy Jedi, but every day brings a new step in his journey to becoming a brave and loving companion. So, check back soon to see how his transformation unfolds. Who knows? Maybe you'll be the one to help him unlock the full potential of the Force... cuddles! Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
