C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Little Panther

Little Panther is solid black and incredibly hard to photograph. But don't let that dissuade you. He loves to cuddle his humans for work, especially if a warm laptop and moving cursor are involved! He is the runt of the litter, but may have the biggest, battiest looking ears that his foster mom has ever seen! Panther doesn't let his size slow him down and he has been seen taking down his big brothers with ease, along with stuffed mice, catnip fish (his favorite), and the occasional red laser dot.
