Community Animal Rescue Effort (CARE)

C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Spike

Spike, is an adorable kitty looking for a forever family. She is full of energy, but loves to cuddle between bouts of chasing string and zooming around the room. She has the loudest motor that she uses to express her content. Spike is microchipped and started on her kitty vaccines and preventatives. Spike will require a $150 spay deposit at time of adoption. Adopters will have 6 months to get her spayed at a vet of their choice. After we recieve confirmation  of completion  the deposit plus up to $45 in reimbursement  will be returned.
