ShortMy name is Buster and I am a white & gray domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 5 months old. I was transferred here from another shelter/rescue through the Ames Animal Shelter's Third Chance program on 02/07/2025. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. The staff is still determining how I get along with men, women, and children. The staff is still determining how I get along with other animals.All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.
