Meet Yael

Yael was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 1/22/25 when he was due to be euthanized because her owner did not come and claim him.  Yael is about 9 months to a year old.  He is a very friendly guy.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is now neutered and is current on shots/dewormings.  We are looking for a strictly indoor home for Yael.  Adoption fee is $80 with a completed application which is available at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  We will review and set up an appt after the form is received.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN   We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
