Meet Momma Ivy

Momma Ivy is an approximate 2-3 year old female Calico. This beauty is a small girl weighing 7lbs who is very affectionate with her foster mom and dad (humans) and loves to sleep with them. Ivy gets along with the adult cats, both male and female and also doesn't mind the two giant dogs in her foster home. She loves to play with other cats, however she can get a little sassy with the adult cats when it's mealtime or when they get to close to her when she is sleeping with her humans. Ivy would do great with another kitty or would be just as happy being the only kitty in her home. She's very easy going and just as sweet as they come. A bit shy at first, but warms up very quickly.  Momma Ivy was a local Iowa surrender via another rescue contact when the owners had many cats/kittens and were evicted. She came to crash in a lovely Hope foster home to birth and care for her kittens. She came into the care of Hope 1/4/25 and gave birth to 6 kittens 1/22/25.  Adoption fee is $75.00 which includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines/cares, and microchip. The adoptor is responsible for taking to and from appt and Hope pays for the appt. There is no rescheduling of this appt. Until Ivy has completed this final vetting appt she is not able to be adopted outside of 45 minutes from Des Moines area. 

Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
