100Meet Mocha
Mocha is a sweet, shy girl who is just learning that people are good things to be around. If you sit quietly and give her time, she will come to you to be petted. Mocha is an easy-going girl, like her mom Trixie, and she is making great strides every day towards being a pampered house-cat. She has come a long way from the frightened, feral kitten she was three months ago, and she will continue to improve with a forever home that allows her to move at her own pace. Mocha is up to date on all her shots, spayed, and litter box trained. She is a beautiful little girl who wants to give her love to her person – she’s just a little nervous still. Can you be patient with her? Because if you can, you will end up with a wonderful, beautiful and loving cat, just as sweet as the drink she was named for. Mocha's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FeLV test. Mocha is seeking an indoor only home and Last Hope requires all adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and current on vaccinations/preventatives. Our adoption process includes a background check, vet history check, and a home visit. If you would like to meet or adopt Mocha please fill out an adoption application on our website, adopthope.org.
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
