Anchovy started out as a poor, defenseless kitten - found in a bush mewing for help. It seems that he had been separated from his family and was left alone to fend for himself. A good samaritan scooped him up and brought him to the rescue and from here Anchovy has had only great things happen (except for maybe his neuter, if you ask him his opinion!). Anchovy is a playful kitten, always happy to explore and it seems he can make a toy out of just about anything! Anchovy lives in a foster home with pups so could easily meld into a home with other pets that will appreciate a curious kitten. We would love to see Anchovy paired with another young cat or kitten, this will help him to channel his kitten energy because without a playmate he's sure to cause mischief and mayhem! Anchovy's adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and FeLV testing. Anchovy is seeking an indoor only home, if you would like to meet him please submit an adoption application through our website, Adopthope.org Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, kept current on vaccines and kept as indoor pets only.
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
