Ellen is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese, estimated to be around 1.5 years old. Not familiar with this breed mix of cats? You can learn more here: https://www.catster.com/breeds/lynx-point-siamese/ Ellen is one of many local cats that joined rescue just before Christmastime. She is social, friendly and outgoing with other cats and will be most comfortable living in a quiet, cat savvy home with feline companions. Ellen enjoys playing with enrichment toys, such as cardboard scratchers or running around chasing and batting fuzzy kitty toys. She does very well living with other cats, and we think she would enjoy taking her friend Ryker or Sparkle with her to her new home. Ellen is not a big fan of being picked up, but she will gladly stop her playing for some pets and affection. She will be best suited to a home with older or cat-savvy children for this reason. She is happiest curled up in her cat bed with another feline companion, and we believe she will make a wonderful addition in a new home! Ellen has not met dogs, but because of her timid nature we think she may prefer to not live with them. Ellen's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you would like to meet Ellen, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.org
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
