Meet Neal

Neal came to MCHS in late October, 2024 with his sister, Charmain.  They were rescued from the Austin City Pound when they were due to be euthanized.  These 2 were probably born in mid-Sept, 2024.  Neal is now neutered and current on shots.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  He is also a very friendly guy who does great with the other cats and with volunteers.  Adoption fee is $80 with a completed application.  Applications are available at mchs.rescuegroups.org.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  Thanks.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
