Meet Vera

Vera was born sometime between 2015 and 2022. If that seems like a lot of uncertainty, that’s because we usually age cats by their teeth and Vera’s are missing! It’s also hard to say for sure what color she is. We don’t know how she’s still so small when she spends most of her time napping or hovering around a food dish. We have a lot of unanswered questions about this little lady, but we do know that she is very friendly! Vera came  to us out of a bad situation. Her rescuers actually thought she was dying. Fortunately, she turned out to be stable,  and the shelter was able to address her needs and eventually move her to a community room .  Vera made fast friends with Twizzler, a male brown classic tabby who also has an unusual face. The pair are very sweet together, often curled together in a cat bed.  Vera is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

Adoption Process
application, adoption fees for dogs/puppies start at $150-$300. Cats/kittens are free will offering adoptions. Contracts for adoptions must be signed. All animals (unless too young) are altered prior to adoption. If not altered a deposit is paid and given back plus a rebate after the alteration has been performed.
