ShortMy name is Clarence and I am a orange tabby domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 1 year and 3 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 11/11/2024 due to the fact I have issues with other animals. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I will need an owner with some prior pet owning experience. I do not do well with children I can be good with women, and men. I cannot live with other cats and I cannot live with dogs.All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.Clarence is in a foster home burning off some energy right now! He is having a great time, and his foster mom loves him. Clarenceâs foster family said his favorites include: chasing laser pointers, mini poms, and feather wands, watching birds and Cat TV, and chomping on catnip and cat grass. Youâll often find Clarence in his cat bed happily kneading away. Clarence uses the scratching post and litter box like a good boy. He doesnât like to be in confined spaces. Heâs much too curious for that. But mostly, Clarence just loves to be near his people. He enjoys relaxing belly rubs and cheek scritches. Heâs a soft spoken guy who chirps to get your attention and purrs contentedly by your side.
