Casper

Cenla Cat Project

My husband, myself, and a friend have seen a need for a cat rescue in our area. My husband and I are both retired (he was a dba and I was a guidance counselor). We are just starting out. We plan to start with adoptions. All cats must be fully vetted (spay/neuter is essential) before they can be adopted. Education about spay/neuter and cat care are a big part of our agenda. We have our 501 (c)(3). Our adoption program is foster based. We hope to have a shelter/adoption center in the next 2 years. We have been working with another local rescue for 3 years whose emphasis is dogs. We see a real need for a cat rescue in the area and are trying to make an impact on cat over-population.

Meet Casper

Meet Casper, our 3-month-old adorable brown tabby kitten! Casper is a precious and affectionate little guy who will melt your heart. Fairly calm for a kitten, he still has his moments of pure kitten energy where he’ll get the zoomies and run like the wind! Casper loves his toys and can often be found entertaining himself with them. He’s also a big fan of pets and lap time, making him the perfect cuddle buddy. Casper is both dog and cat friendly, so he’ll fit right in with your other furry family members. He must be kept indoors and, due to a contract stipulation, declawing is strictly prohibited. If you’re looking for a sweet and playful addition to your family, Casper is the perfect choice! Adopt Casper today and bring home a bundle of joy!

Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete an application and sign a contract. They must agree to provide care for the cat, not to declaw it, and return it to us if unable to care for it. In general, the adoption fee will be $100, it may be less for older cats.
