My husband, myself, and a friend have seen a need for a cat rescue in our area. My husband and I are both retired (he was a dba and I was a guidance counselor). We are just starting out. We plan to start with adoptions. All cats must be fully vetted (spay/neuter is essential) before they can be adopted. Education about spay/neuter and cat care are a big part of our agenda. We have our 501 (c)(3). Our adoption program is foster based. We hope to have a shelter/adoption center in the next 2 years. We have been working with another local rescue for 3 years whose emphasis is dogs. We see a real need for a cat rescue in the area and are trying to make an impact on cat over-population.

This young, beautiful tabby has been spayed and is ready to find a loving family to call her own. She’s as sweet and gentle as they come, with a heart full of love to give. Libby dreams of a home with sunny windows to lounge in and cozy spots to snuggle up for naps. She gets along well with other cats and older children, but we’re not sure how she feels about dogs. Playtime is a joy for Libby—she loves chasing and tossing toys in the air! Lasers and wand toys are her absolute favorites. Libby must be indoor only, and declawing is prohibited by contract. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete an application and sign a contract. They must agree to provide care for the cat, not to declaw it, and return it to us if unable to care for it. In general, the adoption fee will be $100, it may be less for older cats.
