Meet Humberto
There’s nothing quite like an orange tabby - Humberto is no exception! This adorable, 8-month-old guy has everything you want in a feline friend.Humberto loves attention! He is curious, affectionate and is a huge fan of sitting on laps getting his ears scratched. Humberto is also at a great age to not need constant attention - he’ll be perfectly content lounging or looking out the window if you’re away working during the day.Humberto has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is up to date on all age appropriate treatments and vaccines. He is scheduled to be neutered and microchipped in the coming days - he will be fully vetted with a clean bill of health before going home with his forever family. You may notice that one of Humberto’s pupils is a bit larger than the other. His foster says this trait “is actually quite endearing”. Coupled with his precious, cuddly personality, it just makes his sweet expression that much more irresistible.Humberto has an eye condition called Anterior Synechiae. This condition can’t be avoided and was likely caused by an injury he sustained as a little kitten or from an infection he had prior to being rescued. The good news is, this eye condition has been evaluated by multiple veterinarians who agree that Humberto’s situation is not concerning. There’s a chance he could be at a slightly increased risk of developing Glaucoma one day but according to extensive research the, “Prognosis for Synechiae on its own is excellent, with most cases not requiring treatment”.If you have additional questions or would like more information about Humberto, please contact Natalie by email: [email protected]
