Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abused, abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. I began as a volunteer and recently joined to Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee. I do this because I love animals and have two rescue dogs myself.

Meet Raven

Meet Raven, She is a 5 month stray that was found with her siblings: Peter, Rufi and Raja. All of the siblings need some socialization and a patient person to help them know that they are loved.  Raven was the last one of her litter to be rescued. She welcomes pats with a slow approach and becoming braver and braver everyday trusting the volunteers. We would love for her to be adopted with one of her siblings. And/or maybe having an outgoing young cat living at home would help her come out of her shell a bit more. ideally no small children or dogs in the hone.   If you are interested in adopting, applications can be found on our website www.ahimsahaven.org. Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are read to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

Adoption Process
An application is required. Fees vary based on age/type of animal. Meet n' Greet with other dogs in house is required.
