Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abused, abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. I began as a volunteer and recently joined to Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee. I do this because I love animals and have two rescue dogs myself.

Meet Mia

Meet Mia, a young feline of 2 years who is sweet, friendly, yet a bit shy. Her previous owner, due to unforeseen circumstances, was unable to continue caring for her. Mia is a cat who is full of potential and yearning for a new home where she can fully express her loving nature. Her youthful energy is infectious, and her shy demeanor only adds to her charm. She has a lot of love to give and she is waiting for the perfect family to share it with. Adopting Mia would mean giving her a chance at a life filled with love, warmth, and security. Her sweetness and friendliness make her a perfect companion. Give Mia the chance to bring joy and companionship into your life. Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

Adoption Process
An application is required. Fees vary based on age/type of animal. Meet n' Greet with other dogs in house is required.
