Meet Kallen
Kallen is a very shy but sweet boy. He came into foster care from the streets of Waterbury at 6 weeks old. His siblings were not nice to him, so he had to be separated from them. But a very sweet kitty that had recently come into rescue, appropriately named “Angel”, took care of him right away! Now, Kallen is doing really well! He is shy when you first meet him but warms up quickly. He purrs when you hold him or pet him. He comes running over when it’s dinner time or play time! Kallen has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and is now looking for a home that has time to spend on the floor playing with him and building up his confidence. He will thrive in a home with other social kitties or a calm dog. He startles easily still as he’s so young. He needs lots of attention and love to bring out his full potential. Will you be the perfect place Kallen can call his forever home? Kallen was born around October 24, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Thomaston. He is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
Adoption Process
Visit our website to fill out an application either on-line or download a form (fill it out and email it back to us). This will start the adoption process.
All applicants must provide references including a vet (please give them permission to speak to us). Note that we do not place our pets in homes with children under 5, this protects the children and our pets.
Once references are checked a home visit will be scheduled and then a meet and greet with the pet.
