Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue

Ahimsa Haven was incorporated in 1999 as a nonprofit animal rescue group. Our mission is to find good homes for abused, abandoned, homeless and unwanted domestic animals. I began as a volunteer and recently joined to Board of Directors and the Fundraising Committee. I do this because I love animals and have two rescue dogs myself.

Meet Peanut

Hello, I'm Peanut. I'm a little bit shy, but I promise I'm very sweet once you get to know me. I used to live outside, and it was a big, scary world for a small kitten like me. I'm glad I'm safe now, but I'm still getting used to this new place. It's much better than being outside, but I think it would be even better if I had a home of my own. I can't wait to find a family who will love me and help me come out of my shell. I may be a bit timid at first, but with a little patience, I'll show you just how loving I can be. Please consider adopting me. I promise to be the sweetest, most loving companion you could ever hope for. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill put an application online at  ahimsahaven.org . Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.

Adoption Process
An application is required. Fees vary based on age/type of animal. Meet n' Greet with other dogs in house is required.
