About

Meet Dexter

dob 7/13/24 There’s a property in Mesick where people just drop off unwanted cats. The woman who lives there tries her best to care for them. When she asked us for help, we rescued Dexter, his littermates, and several other cats and kittens. Dexter and his siblings, all light gray tabbies like him, are the Cider Mill Kittens, named after cider mills and apples. They look so much alike that we have to put different collars on them to tell them apart. They’re similar in temperament too. Dexter is a sweetie - cuddly, purring, friendly, attention-loving, and playful. You can hold him like a baby and he looks in your eyes. He likes running and playing with his littermates. Dexter likes people and other cats, and with a gradual introduction will probably be fine with kids and dogs. He's a good eater and litter box user. We advise feeding dry food only, at least until he's settled in his forever home and is a little older. Wet food seems to loose him up too much. Dexter would love another cat playmate, like one of the other Cider Mill Kittens, Bayne and King. Check their pages too.
