Meet Jordy! A brave soul ready for her second chance. At just a year old, Jordy has already lived through more pain than any animal ever should. In December, she was cruelly thrown from a moving vehicle in front of Lakeview Middle School. Her tiny body hit the concrete hard, breaking her pelvis on impact. Thanks to the swift actions of Animal Control and the skilled care of Lake City Animal Clinic, Jordy survived. After nearly four months of healing, both physically and emotionally, this sweet girl is finally ready to find a home. Jordy is shy, and who could blame her? But beneath that caution is a gentle spirit who wants to trust again. She's learning that people can be kind, and she’s beginning to show glimpses of the affectionate, loving cat she’s meant to be. Jordy needs a quiet, patient home where she can feel safe. A family that understands healing takes time and that love, given freely and consistently, is the best medicine of all. If you’re looking to make a difference in a life, Jordy is ready to meet you halfway. She’s not just a cat, she’s a survivor, and she’s waiting for her happy ending.Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at [email protected] if you have any questions about me!
