MediumHi, my name is Luna, I'm just over a year old and came to Macomb County Animal Control after my owner was no longer able to care for me. When I arrived, well, you could say I was a little on the `spicy` side and needed a lot of time and patience before I adjusted to shelter life. I have now come to love being petted and will seek you out for attention, but will let you know when I've had enough.Seeing that it took me so long to adjust, I would prefer that children in the home be over the age 10 and meet me prior to adoption. I have never lived with dogs, so if you have one, please do slow and proper introductions. Please be sure that once I arrive in your home, that you give me time to adjust to my new home and surroundings. Providing me with lots of appropriate cat toys and a scratching post will help me feel comfortable in my new home.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control they are open M-F from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $25
