MediumMeet Gobo Fraggle! While out exploring caverns, Gobo found himself in quite a predicament! He had fallen into a storm drain in Mt Clemens. Crying for help for almost 2 days, the Mount Clemens Firefighters Local 838 came to the rescue after being notified by a concerned resident who had heard Gobo's cries from the drain. They were able to rescue litte Gobo and he came to MCAC hungry, dirty & a little scared; but in overall pretty good health considering his ordeal. He was only about 1 month old when he came in, so he has spent the last month in a foster home gaining weight, forgetting his past and looking forward to his future furever home! And Gobo's time has finally arrived! His foster mom describes Gobo as the sweetest boy with a big personality! He loves to play & wrestle with the other foster kittens and is always up for a good game of catch me if you can. He will need to be adopted into a family with another young active cat or kitten, or another kitten from MCAC. Kittens need a buddy for friendship, socialization and their overall well being. Gobo has not been around dogs or young children but should do fine with a proper slow introduction. He's quite the lover too! Once he's done with play time, he loves to sleep on the bed right next to you and will actively seek you out for cuddles. Gobo was just starting to learn how to play fetch at his foster home, and loves all sorts of toys, but feather toys and the crinkle tunnel are some of his favorites. He also loves to perch on the cat tree or window shelf and watch the birds & squirrels and chatter at them. You can come meet Gobo at Macomb County Animal Control Mon-Fri between 10-4. You can fill out an adoption applicaiton here: https://www.macombgov.org/departments/animal-control/adoption-applicationGobo's adoption fee is $100 or $150 if adopted with another kitten from MCAC.
