Smokey was an owner surrender when his family had to move and couldn’t take him along. This sweet boy has lived with younger children, dogs, and cats, and he's looking for a new home where he can settle in comfortably. Smokey is quite the character—he loves to play fetch with Nerf darts and is very observant and curious about everything around him. While Smokey is independent and not a fan of being picked up or held, he enjoys interacting with his humans in his own way. He can be a little shy or cautious around new cats, often hissing to express his feelings, so slow introductions are recommended to help him feel at ease in a multi-cat household. He’s lived with dogs and other cats before, so with the right introductions, he should adjust well to a new home. At 3 years old, Smokey is a big, laid-back guy with a lot of love to give. If you’re looking for a chill companion who enjoys playtime but also values his personal space, Smokey could be the perfect fit for your family. Smokey is from an owner surrender.
