Meet Dusty

Meet Dusty. When he was rescued, he was scared, dirty, smelly (hence the name), and had bald patches along his spine. Open spaces, TVs, and loud noises sent him hiding, but he was never afraid of people or other animals. With time, he’s learning he is safe and his sweet personality is shining through. From day one, Dusty has been incredibly gentle and loving. He greets everyone with instant affection and adores the resident dog and cat. He follows them around respectfully, and over time, they’ve become playmates, racing through the house together. Mostly a laid-back guy, Dusty enjoys bursts of play with stuffed toys or chasing feet under blankets. He loves zoomies with the resident cat before settling in for the night. Above all, he just wants to be near his people — following you from room to room, curling up beside you, or snuggling right in for purr-filled cuddles. Neck scritches are the way to his heart! Dusty would thrive in a home with a gentle, confident furry friend and humans who enjoy his loving company. His fur is growing back, he’s grooming himself regularly, and while still a bit wary of loud noises, he’s come such a long way.
