Lake Traverse Animal Rezcue

We remove abused, neglected, unwanted and impounded animals from the Lake Traverse Reservation. The majority are transferred to our rescue partners for rehoming. Although we've been in existence since 2010, we just started doing adoptions in 2023. We do primarily cat adoptions out of the Chuck & Don's store in Shakopee, MN, and out of our foster homes in the same area. We also provide spay/neuter and vaccinations for community owned animals in our service area listed above, for $25 per pet. We've paid for or subsidized around 6000 spay/neuter surgeries since our first clinic in 2011.

Meet Bubblegum

Bubblegum… Bubblegum… in a dish… how many pieces do you wish… Meet Bubblegum, a 6 month old gray tabby with white paws who is currently the main event at the Shakopee Chuck & Don's Pet Supply Store, where late night antics are bound to occur. Fun exciting escapades in prep for her new home starts with a good stretch then Zoomies all around the store. Bubblegum is a bit adventurous, once she is comfortable with the lay of the land. Bubblegum is a bit on the shy side until she is settled in. She is looking for a human willing to prove their love for her as she patiently awaits. Bubblegum has been known to bat at her favorite catnip & wand toys. If you are lucky, you may catch a show as Bubblegum likes the interactive toys. After the show, Bubblegum likes to curl up for a nap, hoping soon she will have a sunny spot for napping during the chilly winter. If interested in Bubblegum email [email protected] Adoption fee: Bubblegum $250
