Meet Horseradish
Horseradish is an adorable 6-year-old boy, looking for his forever home! This sweet cat was found living outside this winter. A lovely lady trapped him with the intent to TNR him. She found that even in the trap he seemed to enjoy pets, so Pet Haven agreed to take him in, hoping he would show his friendly side. Horseradish did not disappoint! He was soon fixed and just a few weeks later started to really enjoy the perks of indoor life. Horseradish now loves lounging on furniture and getting treats. And he still has the energy to play. It took him a while to learn what a toy was, but now he enjoys playing and chasing all the things, making up for the time he lost living on the streets. He enjoys catnip toys, spring toys, and chasing after the foster kittens in the home. He even likes running in a tunnel and will often stop to take a nap in the tunnel when it’s time for a cardio break! Horseradish recently had a dental appointment and had four teeth removed, so he's feeling healthy and pain-free! He loves canned food but also eats dry food. This cute guy enjoys pets, getting head and chin scratches, and sleeping on a heated bed. Horseradish also enjoys looking out windows—due to the current cold temps, he hasn't tried to bolt out the door when it’s open, but it's something his new family should watch as the weather gets nicer. Someone should always keep an eye out for him when they are coming in or leaving the house, in order to keep him safe! Horseradish has some unique markings—when he stands, he has a little heart on his chest, and his legs make a little heart. This friendly fellow does seem to really enjoy having other cats around (he's learned to play and be a real house cat from them). He's even made an unlikely friend in his foster home: a kitten named Chicken. Consider adopting them together for twice the fun! Horseradish currently lives in a single-family home with one person and seven other cats. This guy will do best in an easygoing, non-hectic house, preferably with another active young resident cat or with his bff Chicken. If you’d like to add a little extra flavor to your home this spring, please consider meeting Horseradish today! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven’s adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
