Meet Ashlyn!Ashlyn is a sweet and cuddly kitten who's ready to bring endless joy to your home.  Her gentle demeanor and loving heart make her the perfect companion for any family or individual looking for a loyal friend.  Ashlyn is a short-hair female, with the most unique markings!  She came to us pretty cold and hungry after being found with her siblings in Bloomington, MN at about 4 weeks old.  She has been THRIVING in her foster home!  Ashlyn has an estimated birthdate of October 6th and has tested negative for felv/fiv.  She will be fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready for her new home on January 13th, 2025 (about 13 weeks old). This laid-back little lady is well adjusted to kids, new people, other cats and dogs (both big and small).  She has done well on car rides and has no fear of the robovac or of a beginner trumpet player .  Ashlyn is fully litterbox trained and eating both canned and solid kitten food.  Ready to fill your life with love, laughter, and kitten cuddles, Ashlyn is waiting for their forever home! Ashlyn can be adopted alone, or as part of a sibling group.  Her brothers and sisters are "Smoky" (male), "Onyx" (male) and "Mouse" (female). For more information, please contact The Rescue Crew..............................If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Adoption Process
Adoption applications must be completed, which include information regarding references and vet clinic information, DL #, names, etc. Reference checks are conducted and when necessary vetting information verified. Discussion about the animal interested in to best assure appropriate and proper placement is made, and educational information regarding how to manage a multi-dog/animal household, slow and proper introductions and the importance of a shut-down period to help the animal acclimate to new surroundings. A "meet and greet" with the animal is required and whenever possible all residents of the household should be present. Home checks may, but not always, be necessary. After adoption applications is approved a contract is required, where we also stipulate that if for any reason the adopter determines they no longer want or can care for the animal we require it be returned to us, with the exception of documented bite history or potentially dangerous or dangerous dog designations. Adoption fees vary, but are comparable to or less than other local rescues and typically are $300 or less for a canine and $150 for a feline.
