Meet Baby Turnip / Butterball

Butterball (tabby, 2 years and 9 months) and Baby Turnip (white/tabby, 1 year and 9 months) are two reserved, handsome goofballs looking for their forever home! This quiet bonded pair is learning to trust their people, gain confidence, and enjoy the cozy indoor life. Butterball occasionally allows pets or will ask for attention, while Turnip prefers to be left alone as he grows in his comfort level and socialization skills. Both cats have low energy and love to lounge all day long. They'll occasionally get zoomies at night and absolutely love batting toys across the floor. If you love to sleep in on the weekends, Butterball’s the guy for you—he enjoys lazy mornings in bed and will come lie down with his humans. Baby Turnip is usually close by watching the action as an observant, contented bystander; this cute guy occasionally gets an upset tummy when he is stressed, but a dose of probiotics fixes that. Butterball and Baby Turnip currently live with one human and no other pets in an apartment. These sweeties would thrive in a quiet home with engaged, compassionate humans who have some experience helping more reserved cats learn to love while settling into the joys of a warm, safe, loving home. This often involves giving them space when they need it and helping them build up to gentle pets and affection. Butterball is not a big fan of his carrier, so his people will have to help him gradually become more accustomed to riding in it. These lovely boys do well with other gentle cats and children over 12; they have not met any dogs to date. It takes a special soul to help cats that have had a challenging start in life learn that humans are good and can be a source of love, affection, and care, but the results are worth it. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
