Meet Potter

Potter was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 9/15/24 when his time was up and he was going to be euthanized because no one came to claim him.  Potter is about 1 to 2 years of age and he is a very friendly guy.  He was neutered when we rescued him.  He is now current on shots/dewormings.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  Potter will be adopted as an indoor only cat.  The adoption fee is $80.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Potter or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch with you.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-9 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
