Meet Angie

Angie is a stray cat found in Austin.  She arrived at MCHS on 2/28/25.  We are guessing that she is about 9 months to a year old.  She has a very sweet, easy-going personality, but she is a bit on the shy side here at MCHS.  Angie is now spayed and current on shots.  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV.  Her adoption fee is $80 as an indoor only cat.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  To meet Angie or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
