Meet Alaska

Alaska was rescued from the Austin City Pound when his time there had expired and he was due to be euthanized.  This boy is a very, very sweet guy.  He has a purr for everyone.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, was previously neutered, and he is now current on shots.  We have scheduled a dental for him in early Sept.  Alaska will be adopted as a strictly indoor only cat.  The adoption fee is $50 or 2 for $75.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Alaska or any of our other cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  Thanks.

Adoption Process
Starts with written Application form which includes questions regarding housing situation (rent/own etc. renters require landlord approval), History of previous or current pets, Vet information, Animal housing information (cats must be indoors, dogs fenced yard etc.). Fees for Cat Adoptions are $50 (or $75 for two) Dogs vary based on breed, size, etc. Average is $125.
